The Global Consultant: How to Make Seven Figures Across Borders by Alan Weiss and Omar Khan

Two of the world's most successful global consultants have combined for the first time to detail their secrets for earning seven figures while making their clients hundreds of millions, and leading a wonderful lifestyle along the way.

(1888PressRelease) November 29, 2008 - There are over half a million people involved in consulting. It is one of the fastest growing professions, and ironically, tends to grow regardless of the state of the economy.

In the new book by John Wiley & Sons (Asia) Pte Ltd, The Global Consultant: How to Make Seven Figures Across Borders (ISBN: 978-0-470-82386-6) brings together wisdom from two of the world's most successful global consultants. For the first time ever, Alan Weiss and Omar Khan detail the secrets of earning seven figures while making their clients hundreds of millions. Drawing on their personal experiences as global consultants, the authors offer down-to-earth advice on what it takes to become and succeed as a seven-figure consultant. They identify where the opportunities are, and the types of situations you are likely to encounter.

The Global Consultant is a work intended to accelerate the progress of both veteran and neophyte consultants in their work across geopolitical boundaries - using the latest ideas in technology, travel, and remote methodologies. It is the compilation of the best practices of two of the most successful global consultants in the world, who have been and still are working across borders collectively for over 50 years.

In an increasingly global world, it is vital for consultants to be legitimate and true internationalists by overcoming false language, cultural, and monetary barriers.

Say the authors, “Only you control your talent and discipline. But you can learn the process and content of global consulting from our experiences, techniques, and the skills we transfer in this book. If you’re serious about consulting, you can’t afford to ignore the world village.”

The Global Consultant is a vital handbook for primarily solo or small-practice consultants (and those considering independent consulting) who seek the wealth, experience, and gratification of consulting internationally. Both "on the ground" and remote techniques are addressed, so the peripatetic and the home-anchored can achieve significant new goals, adventures and growth-experience to take their business to the next income bracket.
