Las Vegas, NV-AZ (1888PressRelease) January 26, 2008 - Season Two of The Freedom of Speech Comedy Show is set to begin filming mid Feb, 2008 at The LA Comedy Club located at The Palace Station Casino in Las Vegas, NV.

The show will air on late night syndication in both the Vegas and Southern California markets with hopes of national airing by mid year. "The writer's strike has left a void for new and original programming" says creator Don Barnhart Jr. "We are no longer knocking at the studio executive's door and they're coming to us creating a bidding war over getting the show. It's a great position to be in and it's allowing us to keep the show here in Las Vegas as opposed to taking it to Hollywood."

The show is being called "the late night comedy series that doesn't hold back" with no gimmicks, contests or censorship and is created, produced and hosted by award winning comedian Don Barnhart Jr. (Winner of the 2007 American Idol Comedy Contest, Writer/Director/Actor of the hit indie film “China Dolls”, Second City Conservatory Graduate and Contributing Author on “I Killed: True Stories of The Road by America’s Top Comedians”) Don is also the former talent coordinator for the infamous Comedy & Magic Club in Hermosa Beach, CA

The Freedom of Speech Comedy show features the top headlining comedians doing what they do best shot on location at what is now being considered one of the top comedy clubs in the country and the comics set to appear on the show's first taping are some of Las Vegas's favorite comedians and are some of the top comics working today: Vinnie Favorito, John Padon, Steve White, Don Barnhart, Tom Cotter, Robert Duschain and a special surprise guest.

Barnhart is also a contributing author on the book, “I Killed: True Stories of the Road from America’s Top Comics” which the NY Times calles "hilarious".
