November 26, 2006 - From 6pm on Thursday 7th December 2006, Utopia Tanning and Beauty Salon in Harborne will try to prove they can provide the fastest spray tans in the world by attempting a Guinness World Record ™.
The attempt, which will establish the record of the most spray tans in one hour, will form part of a whole day of fundraising for the Meningitis Research Foundation. Luisa Berger, Managing Director of Utopia Tanning and Beauty Salon, says “What a fantastic way to look great for the Christmas party season, and all for an incredibly good cause! Everyone who participates in our attempt will receive a gift-bag of goodies as a thank you from Utopia, as well as the knowledge that they’re a part of history.”
To join in this incredible event, participants need to be at the Utopia salon, near Harborne swimming baths, from 6pm on Thursday 7th December. All the details for the record-breaking attempt can be found at www.worldsbiggestspraytan.com, including registration for the challenge.
The salon will be open as usual from 11am until 9pm and any spray tan carried out during the whole of Thursday 7th of December will cost only £4, with all proceeds going directly to support the Meningitis Research Foundation, courtesy of SiennaSun spray tan solution.
