February 28, 2009 - The Corporate Learning Institute (CLI), a firm dedicated to helping organizations increase their performance by providing team building services, training and development solutions and change management strategies, announces that CEO Tim Buividas will be hosting a workshop at Benedictine University on May 9th for The Chicago Organization Development Institute Chapter (CODIC).
The workshop, "Developing Community in an Organization: Peter Block's Principles of Civil Engagement and the Restoration of Community", will discuss how to build community within an organization using Peter Block's Principles of Civil Engagement and the Restoration of Community. This will be done through six conversations on the subject. By the end, this workshop will help consultants understand the transformative process that can occur when a substantive conversation takes place to shift a group to a position of greater performance. The workshop starts at 8:30 with registration and will end at noon. The workshop is free to all CODIC members and $15 for non-members.
