(1888PressRelease)
January 03, 2007 - Just released from the kennel at
RacerDogs.com and through the amazing art of War-Wagon.com artist Lori Munro.
A chihuahua simply hangs on for dear life aboard that famous #9... or is it? Only the Chili Dog knows for sure if its a hot chili pepper or not!
States the artist, Lori Munro, "I had an idea for quite some time to create a chihuahua and had anticipated the final result to have this tiny breed aboard a midget car. BUT, being that the dogs are just so tiny, it was almost impossible to scale this miniscule creature properly and still give the illusion of it being involved in a large piece of race car. My brain got thinking that the chihuahua is no bigger than a decal on a midget car... so why not make the dog a part of the decal?"
The end result had that famous #9 looking more and more like a chili pepper than a decal on a Steve Lewis midget, so a piece of green stem was added to enhance the appearance of a pepper even further. The traditional Racer Dogs bandana was added along with a pair of chihuahua-sized bubble goggles to add even more whimsy to this piece.
An accompanying piece to the much acclaimed "Red, White and Bluetick", "The Pagoda Pup", "Daytona Dalmation" and of course, the Carbon Super Sport persona captured throughout the RacerDogs.com art and associated PR. Look for the "Chili Dog" soon in poster format and tee-shirt orders made available on the RacerDogs.com website!
