The Chalet at 11º East, Obergurgl Is Pleased To Announce the Hiring Of Its Chalet Hosts For The Winter Season
With the ski season rapidly approaching, the luxury catered ski chalet The Chalet at 11º East, Obergurgl , is pleased to have selected two chalet hosts for the forthcoming winter season.
- (1888PressRelease) September 26, 2014 - The Chalet at 11º East prides itself on its staff to ensure guests enjoy a warm relaxed and comfortable holiday whilst skiing in the snow assured Obergurgl.
In a close-knit environment such as ours, where we only cater for ten guests at a time, the calibre of the chalet hosts is critical to guests enjoying their time at The Chalet.
Annabelle and Amelia were selected for their outstanding personality, culinary knowledge and importantly their "can do" knowledge. We need people thatare not only excellent cooks but are prepared to go the extra mile to ensure guests have the perfect holiday. Whether this is entertaining kids on the Wii or sledging outside our front door whilst the adults enjoy cocktails ahead of dinnerjust depends on the guests, and no two weeks are usually the same! Corporate weeks require an altogether different style of hosting, and the hosts need to be able to adjust to the different types of guest and their requirements.
Both girls are educated to A level standard, and have additionally attended the specialist Orchards Cookery School. Orchards is based in Evesham, Worcestershire &runs courses that train the chalet hosts not only in how to cook, but critically, in how to cook at altitude which often requires different cooking techniques. Food hygiene is equally important and both chalet hosts have passed their Hygiene level 2 certificate.
This will be the third year in a row that The Chalet at 11º East has engaged the services of Orchards Cookery school, which in itself demonstrates the schools outstanding success in both training and the high caliber staff that it aims to develop.
The girls will undergo further specialist cookery training here in the UK, to familiarize themselves with our specific menus before being posted to The Chalet at 11 º East Obergurgl. For more info : http://www.thechalet.com.
