  • Monmouth-Ocean, NJ (1888PressRelease) April 30, 2011 - The Center, a psychiatric partial care program of Advanced Behavioral Care Services, which serves the needs of Monmouth, Ocean and Middlesex County residents suffering from mental illness or substance abuse, announced the hiring of Middlesex County resident Lisa Catlin, M.S.W., LCSW as Program Director at its Neptune facility. The Center has locations in Lakewood and Neptune serving the four counties of Monmouth, Ocean, Middlesex and Mercer.

    Mrs. Catlin brings a background in clinical administration and management with a strong emphasis in health care administration. Prior to joining The Center, Ms. Catlin was Administrator of Adult Day Care at Saint Peters Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ, where she and her staff served the needs of 100 functionally and/or cognitively impaired adults. She has also enjoyed earlier leadership roles with Jersey City Medical Center and Hoboken University Medical Center. At CCCPA of Piscataway, she was director of a 38-bed residential program serving adults with serious and persistent mental illness.

    The Center's partial care program consists of a multidisciplinary team, which focuses on wellness and recovery for individuals with persistent mental illness. Utilizing a group modality, The Center provides such therapeutic groups as: Independent Skill Building; Co-Occurring Disorder Support; Pre-Vocational Skill Development; Substance Abuse Therapy and Education; Medication Education and Counseling; Laughter for Living Therapy, Music and Art Therapy and much more.
