October 22, 2008 - San Diego, CA : The brand new 2009 Chevrolet Traverse is a full-size four-door crossover SUV with bold styling and a vigorous engine. Its spacious interiors can accommodate up to eight passengers. The 2009 Chevrolet Traverse comes in LS, 1LT, 2LT and LTZ trim levels and is powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine with direct injection. A six-speed automatic transmission is standard. All-wheel and front-wheel drive system are optional. The 2009 Traverse achieves best-in-class fuel economy rating of 24 mpg on the highway.
The refined interior of the 2009 Chevy Traverse offers key features such as SmartSlide second-row seats, skyScape sunroof, jewel-like headlamps, XM Radio, Bluetooth connectivity (on 2LT and LTZ) and extensive list of safety devices such as turn-by-turn navigation, six airbags with rollover sensor, rearview camera system and updated visibility side view mirrors.
