June 25, 2009 - On August 17-20, 2009 the 7th international specialized exhibition of headwear, raw materials, accessories and equipment CHAPEAU-2009 will be held.
Every year the exhibition opens its doors to the public at the central Moscow exhibition venue – Gostiny Dvor. During four days you will have an opportunity to get acquainted with the most topical information about everything related to headwear.
Leading designers and modelers will present their newest collections of headwear of every color and shade, for any season and event.
Daring designer solutions, introducing new techniques contribute to creating beautiful, stylish and what’s not less important comfortable headwear.
Within the bounds of CHAPEAU a number of events are provided which provide an idea of the latest trends. Business programme of the show includes conferences, presentations, seminars, round table discussions. Fashion shows are to be held daily, and traditionally Vyaceslav Zaitsev catwalk show will be performed on the opening day. Undoubtedly, catwalk shows progamme will offer a unique review of fine collections just like it did all the previous years. An intense contest programme will allow manufacturers to demonstrate their collections and compete for the victory in various nominations, as well as for the Grand Prix of the show – The Crown of The Headwear Empire.
CHAPEAU receives a few hundreds applications for participation in the show annually from manufacturers and designers of headwear from Russia, Ukraine, Germany, Italy, Poland, USA, Czech Republic, Canada and other countries. Mass media interest to the exhibition also grows with every year.
The year 2009 is declared to be the Youth Year in Russia. The exhibition organizer KORDON company entirely supports young designers’ initiatives and gives them an opportunity to demonstrate their works, enables them to get an evaluation of their achievements by professional jury. Within the bounds of CHAPEAU the young talents festival Shapyonok and the contests among the students’ art work, Future of Chapeau and Corporate Style will be held.
International specialized exhibition CHAPEAU has established a confident reputatiom in the Russian market as a starting point for visitors and exhibitors communications.
