Garage / Psych Fan Runs Internet Radio Station Loaded With Music

Kiloh Smith, well-known as the Moderator of the world’s largest Syd Barrett and Texas Psych fan discussion groups, runs a free Internet radio station that caters to fans of garage / psych & psychedelic music. Right now, it has well over 25,000 artists, albums and songs rated for play. “My radio station is attempting to throw exposure upon the garage psych > early punk connection” says Mr. Smith.

09 FEB	Fan Group Locates Legendary 13th Floor Elevators Master Tapes
	An Internet group of Texas Psychedelic fans has located the 8-track masters to the legendary Easter Everywhere album by the Thirteenth Floor Elevators. These tapes were thought to be lost for the last four decades. These tapes were “’thrown in’” with an old 8-track recording machine that was sold as junk at a garage sale in the American Southwest recently.

	A loosely-knit group of Internet-based fans of Texas Psychedelic music have burned the 13th Floor Elevators catalog to CD. These have been ripped direct from first pressing LP’s, cleaned up, and offered for free trade among the fans. The sound of these is like no “Elevators” CD reissue that has come before, and there are a lot.
