February 26, 2008 - The innovative design of the New IRtec P Mk2 Series of documenting portable infrared thermometers represents the most versatile and powerful portable thermometer for non contact infrared temperature measurement. The IRtec P Mk2 documenting non contact infrared thermometers are ideal to monitoring of operating temperatures of mechanical and electrical plants or production equipment without removing the equipment from service and to measure product temperatures during manufacturing, to spot problems before they reduce quality or cause production downtime.
Available in seven models the New IRtec P Mk2 Series, offers a wide temperature range -30 to 3000°C (-20°F to 5432°F), optical resolution up to 200:1, different spectral response available for different applications, adjustable emissivity, True Target Size (TTS) laser sighting systems, fast 150 ms response time, datalogging and more.
The comfortable, ergonomic design combined with the new rugged ABS case with protective rubber holster makes the IRtec P Mk2 Series ideal for use in the field or in the plant. The large LCD display with automatic white lamp backlit offers better visibility in dark areas, just pull the trigger and with a 150 ms response time you will start to read temperature measurements. Each IRtec P Mk2 models can store up to 500 data points grouped by tag with real-time clock in its internal memory and can easily be download to your PC using the included IRLogMan 2007 datalogging software and the new USB/Serial communication interface. You can also print results to an optional external infrared printer. You can also download and store 50 presest common material emissivity values or the real-time temperature can be displayed together with the Maximum, Minimum, Difference and Average values.
