June 09, 2008 - Temperature & Process Instruments Inc. New IRtec P1000+ Mk2 infrared documenting thermometer is available with either Standard or Long Distance Focus optic system. The IRtec P1000+ Mk2 has a Spectral response of 8 to 14μm and can measure temperature over the wide range -30 to 1200°C (-20 to 2192°F). The IRtec P1000+ Mk2 is equipped with the new dual TTS red laser pointer system standard which defines at different distances the true target dimension. The comfortable, ergonomic design combined with the new rugged ABS case with protective rubber holster makes the IRtec P1000+ Mk2 ideal instrument to measure temperature in the field or in the plant using non-contact infrared energy.
