May 08, 2007 - Tekseed, LLC technology research and development center have combined to establish the first of their kind high quality Internet video links between China and the United States and CHINA FINANCE CENTRE, the New York based conference and trade exposition center dedicated to expanding business ties between the two countries. The links use Video by Vtrix™, a Tekseed technology developed by the company’s international research and development team that employs new server advances to deliver the highest picture quality available via the Internet for both broadcast and non broadcast content.
Under active development since 1999, Tekseed’s breakthrough Video By Vtrix technology is able to deliver the highest quality images over the H.264 standard, which is only now being widely applied in program transmission equipment. Robert Bishop, Tekseed’s managing partner and CTO, stated, “We have had seven years of experience developing equipment incorporating H.264, and so we have now come up with some truly unique approaches to server technology that permit us to deliver the highest available video quality at a very efficient cost point.”
In addition to the CFC application, Tekseed is gearing up to supply a growing market of Internet service providers, broadcasters and cable operators, who are all seeking to change over to the new H.264 standard. Robert Bishop commented, “ Based on the calls we’ve received over just the last 10 days, it’s clear that the various industries are trying to switch to H.264 as quickly as possible, and it so happens that we’ve developed the best approach combining the highest quality and lowest cost.”
The new Video by Vtrix transmission system will be used to expand CFC’s Business Television Network, which has been established to exchange news, information and educational programming between China and the U.S. Programming is currently available via the video channel on the CFC Website- www.chinafc.net.
In announcing the new unique video service, CFC President William J. Hallenbeck stated that CFC regards this as a most important step that will enable the wholesale expansion of programming links between the world’s most important nations. He noted, “Using the Video By Vtrix technology will offer US companies the opportunity to use Internet video to effectively present their corporate messages directly to an audience of China’s influential business executives and government leaders.”
CFC’s Hallenbeck added, "We read almost daily of the historic, record breaking expansion of the Chinese economy, but, a vast number of companies in both countries, ironically, have little knowledge of what it takes to expand their businesses across borders. The special joint publication with China Marketing Magazine will enable CFC to provide the growing numbers of Chinese executives with authoritative, in-depth material, specifically designed bridge this key information gap.”
