September 17, 2008 - Valrico, FL - Citrix has recently released Web Interface 5.0 for XenApp 4.5 and 5.0, previously Citrix Presentation Server. IT firm Techstur.com announced that it has already begun performing modifications, customizations and adding custom features to XenApp 5.0.
Techstur.com had already developed a custom Citrix Web Interface Admin Panel to control features of the Citrix Web Interface. They have already converted most of their custom Admin Panel features into the new Techstur.com Custom XenAdmin Panel.
A leader in interface customization, modifications and branding, Techstur.com has posted a demo of a customized XenApp Web Interface 5.0 to show how they can improve the look and feel of the default interface. The demo is available at https://ctxwi50.techstur.com/.
Techstur.com already has a lot of experience modifying Citrix Web Interface 4.0, 4.2, 4.5 and 4.6, and when Citrix released a preview of the new Web Interface 5.0, Techstur.com was ready.
“We started customizing Web Interface 5.0 as soon as we were able to download it,” says Jesse Boehm, a co-founder of Techstur.com. “We wanted to be ready to offer the same great customization services we perform on older versions of Citrix Web Interface as soon as the new one came out.”
Techstur.com will continue to customize older versions of the Citrix Web Interface along with the newest version. Customization options range from having Techstur.com implement a design that you provide to having the Techstur.com team design your web interface from the ground up—even the logo, if need be.
Techstur.com also offers a number of custom features and Advanced Interface Customization Services—most of which came about through client requests.
“If a client has an idea for a custom feature or needs features from a previous version migrated over to the new one, we can do that for them,” says Boehm. “We really offer a lot of flexibility and work closely with the client every step of the way.”
Besides Citrix Web Interface customizations, Techstur.com modifies the web interfaces of several other popular applications, including the 2X Web Access Portal and several Microsoft products, such as Outlook Web Access 2003 and 2007, ISA Forms Based Authentication Interfaces and SharePoint WSS 3.0 and MOSS 2007 templates.
