TEAM International - example of effective collaboration with a client

Herewith TEAM International shares its best practice relevant to establishment of effective collaboration with a customer within a business process outsourcing (BPO) model.


Orlando, FL (1888PressRelease) July 17, 2008 - TEAM International considers visits to the client’s office as an effective practice contributing to the general quality of its staff performance and productivity. It is also an integral part of TEAM’s customer relationship policy.

Offshore outsourcing means that certain business processes are done remotely by solutions provider. To ensure best results and integrity of client company functioning, the outsourcing partner should establish close link with its customer. Mutual discussion of requirements and technical specifications helps the project to be executed at the highest quality level. Frequent business trips from the client’s place to the partner’s office and vice versa help project managers get in-depth understanding of the project specificity and deliver a proper message to their executive teams.

In July 2008 a group of TEAM employees will relocate to work in the head office of one of TEAM’s major clients in UK. The key goal of this relocation is to adjust the client’s processes and new projects documentation to the CMMI Level 3 standards and to get in-depth understanding of the customer requirements and projects objectives.

One of TEAM’s project managers will work with the client team to ensure that the project runs on schedule, the communication between the client and its outsourcing partner is established at a high professional level and the information distribution is free of any significant delays. Other five TEAM staff members – one project manager and four business analysts - will go to the client’s office to work on another important project. They will be responsible for gathering project requirements and developing technical specifications for Ukraine’s project executive team.

Relocation of TEAM’s employees to the client’s office serves as an excellent example of how collaborative cooperation works in a Business Process Outsourcing model. TEAM International hopes these new projects will enhance its long-standing positive relationship with one of its major clients and will create a solid platform for further effective collaborative cooperation.
