October 02, 2008 - Team Group announces the appointment of Fermin Ramirez Diaz as Sales and Technical Representative in Mexico for its range of Mining Tires, OTR Tires and Tyre Protector. Fermin will be primarily responsible for developing sales and providing technical tire support and after sales service to Mines for Mining and OTR Construction Tires whilst concurrently developing sales for Tyre Protector, a unique tire sealant that provides permanent puncture protection.
Team Group represents Mining and OTR tire brands and tire related products, such as Tyre Protector and also tire management products. Utilizing its own network of OTR tire professionals, Team provides products and servicing to Mines throughout Latin America and in addition works with tire distributors, equipment rental companies, and directly with other customers of OTR Tires for Port and Industrial as well as smaller Construction vehicles.
Team Group has dedicated staff based in Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Brazil and Panama, where it is also headquartered. Team is the exclusive worldwide representative of the Duratread brand of Mining and OTR Tires and has the distribution and marketing contract for Tyre Protector in Latin America and other countries in Africa and Asia.
Fermin brings to Team extensive experience working in the Mexican tire and large mining and construction equipment industry and his objective will be to work with companies to find the best and most cost-effective solutions to their tire requirements including after sales service.
