May 22, 2008 - Leading multinational financial investment and share dealing company TD Waterhouse1 have gone green with an investment in planted office displays for their central Manchester, Leeds and London offices.
The planted office displays were installed by Fosters Breathing Space, a professional interior landscaping firm based in Stafford and after a number of design and implementation consultations between the two companies, the central Manchester offices of TD Waterhouse were transformed with 30 planted office displays.
Speaking on behalf of TD Waterhouse, Assistant Facilities Manager, Linsey Clissold explained;
“We were looking for a way to brighten up our office spaces and had heard about the positive impact office plants have had in offices around the world, so we decided to investigate the possibility of installing some rented office plant displays.”
“Following a consultation with Daniel from Fosters Breathing Space, it was decided that they were the company for us, and we were proved right. The finished displays look amazing and have added a lot of colour into what used to be an average looking office complex. The plants have been well received by our Manchester workforce and this helped us with the decision to install planted displays in our other UK offices.”
Fosters Breathing Space have now installed foliage displays in the Leeds and London branches of the finance company. Describing the impact of the office plants provided by Fosters Breathing Space, Linsey Clissold continued;
“We were really happy with the service provided by the Fosters Breathing Space team and are delighted with the beautiful planted displays in all of our offices. The plants not only make the offices look fresher but also make our staff feel better too.”
“The awkward layout of our London building was quite a challenge for Fosters but they did an amazing job with the plants installed there and their fortnightly office plant maintenance packages mean that our displays are always blooming, which is probably just as well since staff here have a head for figures and not greenery.”
Daniel Foster, Director of Fosters Breathing Space is delighted to be working with the execution-only brokers TD Waterhouse and stated;
“The Fosters team are happy to be able to work closely with such a high profile company and are delighted that the TD Waterhouse staff are enjoying their planted displays as much as we enjoy caring for them. The evidence to support the health and aesthetic benefits of office plants is huge and we are pleased that large multinational corporations are realising the potential of foliage in the workplace.”
