Taylor Atelian Stars As “Ruby” For The Eighth And Final Season Of ABC's “According To Jim”

Actress, singer, and dancer Taylor Atelian stars as “Ruby,” the daughter of Jim Belushi, for the eighth and final season of the successful ABC comedy series “According to Jim.”

(1888PressRelease) November 08, 2008 - Los Angeles, CA — Actress, singer, and dancer Taylor Atelian will be returning to star as “Ruby,” the daughter of Jim Belushi, on the eighth and final season of the successful ABC comedy series “According to Jim.” After seven seasons, the show will begin airing its final season on December 2, 2008. Taylor has essentially grown up in the spotlight, charming audiences for the past eight years of her life on television. At five years old, she landed the role of “Ruby.”

“According to Jim” centers around and stars Jim Belushi as “Jim,” the husband who has it all and then some, his gorgeous wife Cheryl (Courtney Thorne-Smith), whom he challenges with his stubborn manliness but contagious charm, his three precious kids, Ruby (Taylor Atelian), Gracie (Billi Bruno) and Kyle (Conner Raybum), his brother-in-law, Andy (Larry Joe Campbell), who is his best friend, business partner and “partner in crime,” as well as his sister-in-law and sparring partner Dana (Kimberly Williams-Paisley).

“Being on this show has been the most amazing experience for me,” says Taylor. “I consider this cast to be like my second family, I have grown up with them, and it has been such an honor to work with them for so long. I am sad to say goodbye to everyone and to finish up the series, but I am excited for what is coming up in my career.”

In addition to “According to Jim,” Taylor recently performed in the music video “Celebrity” with country music star Brad Paisley, and also recently starred in the short film “First in Ten,” based on a true story about the first girl ever allowed to play in the Youth Football League. Now, as “According to Jim” prepares to air its final season, Taylor is preparing for what lays ahead in her career. She plans to use her dancing, acting, and singing skills in her next project, an all-girl group called Pink-E-Swear. With their debut album recorded and a television pilot written, Pink-E-Swear is currently pitching their projects to both record labels, and select television networks.
