June 10, 2008 - The Tax Advice Network, which is primarily aimed at accountancy professionals who need specialist tax advice for their clients, actively supports TaxAid and Tax Help for Older People and has already donated £450 to TaxAid in the last six months. They have now pledged to donate £1 to TaxAid for every new person* who registers on the website during Tax Advice Week 2008.
The Tax Advice Network was launched in 2007 and provides accountants and other regulated advisers with the ability to choose who provides them and their clients with specialist tax support. Developed by former ICAEW Tax Faculty Chairman Mark Lee, the site is rapidly establishing its position as the premier resource for reliable and cost effective tax advice.
The website also works as a resource for non-accountants and members of the public, through its pre-pay Tax Advice Helpline, online tax advice articles and through its directory of members who can be approached directly for tax advice.
“The Tax Advice Network aims to provide a support network for accountancy professionals who are seeking reliable and trusted tax advice and we are delighted to be supporting TaxAid during Tax Advice Week by donating £1 for every new person who signs up this week” says Mark Lee, founder of Tax Advice Network.
Tax Advice Week runs from Monday 9th to Friday 13th June and aims to raise awareness about the need for tax advice, even for those on low incomes, and to further understanding of tax.
