NEWARK - July 12th, 2007 was Garden State Apartments' second general meeting. Topics included various alternate real estate investing strategies; "Flipping without Flopping". Before introducing the speaker, Sunny Kancherla gave an overview of new features of the NJ Apartment MLS, including a new test section of the site that is featuring residential investment property for sale from its users.

This meeting's guest speaker was Charles M. Kohout. Charles, or Chuck, is a LOCAL, wildly successful investor, entrepreneur & educator with no formal training. Chuck has an incredible drive and habit of succeeding in everything he does. He has blue collar back ground, though most of the time he prefers to wear a T-shirt & jeans. He has spent his early years working for and running a number of small businesses, from bakery to bartender, special education counselor to nutrition center, providing top-notch service is in his blood. I learned early on to treat people well, & what you put out will come back to you.

Chuck founded Salvation Home Buyers, in 2004, a company that functions as a hybrid of a real estate holding company. It allowed him exit the workforce shortly after. "The philosophy is simple but most people don’t get it, however I and hundreds of others that I’ve trained know differently because we do it every day. A six figure check usually makes some one a believer."

Chuck discussed techniques for real estate investment. These strategies have helped him make his first million before the age of 30. For those who missed the event or would like to learn more from Chuck, he is hosting two training sessions in October (click here to request more info). Every attendee of this meeting also received one year free on AmericanForeclosures.com. The event ended with networking and discussions concerning the real estate market.

Garden State Apartments thanks all of those who attended our second general meeting, and hopes to see them again at the next meeting on August 9th, 2007. Next month’s speaker, Rich Vaill, will be discussing 1031s- Earning more and paying less taxes. Be sure to purchase your tickets in advance Online at www.GardenStateApartments.com and receive a special discount!
