Swisscom offers the world's thinnest tablet: Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1
The world's thinnest tablet is now available from Swisscom: the Samsung Galaxy Tab, which is just 8.6 millimetres thick, has a 10.1-inch screen, runs Honeycomb (the latest Android version), and comes with a dual-core processor and two cameras.

Just 8.6 millimetres thick, the Samsung Galaxy Tab is the thinnest tablet on the market at present. It runs Android 3.1 (also known as Honeycomb), the latest incarnation of the operating system. Thanks to its 1 GHz dual-core processor and support for HSPA+ mobile technology, the new Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 delivers optimum transmission speeds for wireless web browsing. The tablet is equipped with Polaris Office, which allows users to read and edit different file types, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel, making it the ideal solution for working while on the move. The 10.1-inch high-resolution screen displays content with pin-sharp quality. With online access to a wealth of books, newspapers and magazines, the tablet provides a superb reading experience.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab comes with a 3 megapixel camera including LED flash on the back. The front features a 2 megapixel camera that enables videoconferences to be easily set up. The 16 GB internal memory provides ample space to store photos, music and videos.
