June 20, 2006 - Bill is quite new to the art world, but he has already made an impact with this new art form. He uses his motorcycle and his camera to explore back roads of New Jersey and then transforms his photographs into "digital watercolors". Many of these works are nostalgic, country-themed: a snow-covered road through the woods, summer flowers in a field, the gray-weathered boards of an old house, but there are whimsical shots as well such as a circus clown. The colors he uses are clean and airy. They are enhancing, evocative and discreet.
Bill’s work is mostly self-taught and evolved out of his former business experience. As he says "My technical and business experience helped me to develop an eye for perspective and composition and my experience using computer-aided design tools certainly provided the computer knowledge needed to work in a digital medium."
