Aina Dumlao, though not a high school student, may be one of the youngest executives 'round town having just turned twenty-20 recently. She definitely looks like one.
"I didn't know what to think of her on my first day. She seemed way younger than everyone else at SupportSave," says Alex Santos, a Dedicated Representative. "But right when she started talking, handling people on the floor, she was all business."
One of the pioneers of the company, the 5'2" tall, marketing and advertising graduate at the top University in the Philippines, Aina Dumlao is currently the Chief Operating officer and doubles up as an Associate Marketing Director for SupportSave Solutions. She directly oversees the performance of the dedicated employees on the floor, establishes a clear flow of communication between the company and clients and helps in the development of marketing strategies for SupportSave.
"I always wanted to be a part of something and be there as it grows into something big. So even with the outsourcing boom here in the Philippines, with the bigger companies offering high pay for new hires, I opted to work for SupportSave. I was the first employee in the Manila office," she said when asked about how she got started with the company. "And I've heard countless stories from my friends and family about call centers seeing their employees as a statistic--the moment you don't meet metrics, they kick you out just like that.
