Supply & Demand Processing Criminal Records Bureau Disclosures For Businesses

A teaching recruitment agency discovers an unexpected successful sideline to its business.

(1888PressRelease) June 11, 2008 - Businesses coming into contact with children or vulnerable adults are increasingly turning to Supply & Demand Recruitment Ltd for their staff C.R.B Disclosures.

More than 50 businesses and organisations along the south coast are now using Dorset-based Supply & Demand recruitment agency to organise and process their disclosure applications from the Criminal Records Bureau.

The agency in Bournemouth, which provides nurseries, schools and colleges with supply staff, is a registered body with the C.R.B and fully complies with the bureau’s stringent code of practice.

Under current legislation businesses must declare details of criminal records, cautions, bind-overs, and pending prosecutions, if staff are in close proximity to children or vulnerable adults.

Cleaning, pest control and financial services, housing associations, health clinics, counsellors, schools contractors and care homes have all used Supply & Demand to guide them through the minefield of disclosure application.

The agency’s corporate service in disclosure applications has developed unexpectedly from dealing with the C.R.B for its own supply teachers, teaching assistants and nursery professionals.

It has had C.R.B registration for five years.

“So many sectors and industry areas these days increasingly need disclosures to assist with their safer recruitment decisions,” said Supply & Demand managing director, Jan de Planta.

“We can advise employers if they are eligible to request disclosure.

“But the application process itself can be very confusing and time consuming. We have a lot of experience and can guarantee applications via us will be dealt with on the same day. Speed is of the essence in business.”

The agency has a dedicated website for companies wishing to use their C.R.B disclosure service.
