January 24, 2008 - SAN FRANCISCO, CA –– Juvee Records, in Association with Ingrooves Pure Digital Media is proud to announce the release of “Stick This In Your iPod”, the debut album from Skippy Tornado, lead vocalist and chief instigator for SuperBooty, San Francisco’s legendary 15-piece funk party band.
With hard hitting tracks such as “Barfed In My Backpack”, “Who Took A Dump In My Lunchbox?”, and “Big Boobed Babysitter”, the record contains twelve riveting songs specifically created for juvenile delinquents of all ages.
The self-proclaimed Duke of Disaster, The Fighting Fists of Fury, Mr. Tornado retired from SuperBooty in late 2006 and spent the Fall of 2007 in the studio.
He emerged in December with a gut-busting album of blistering hard rock comedy that was inspired by his musical idols Spinal Tap, Foo Fighters, Ween and Tenacious D.
The irreverent and sophomoric subject matter is his musical response to an industry in turmoil that seems overly sensitive and serious.
“If I hear one more over-produced, painfully dramatic three-chord power ballad from an American Idol winner, I’m going to eat my Gibson Flying V” states Mr. Tornado. “Somebody needs a perforated eardrum and I’m just the guy to do it!” he states.
“Stick This In Your iPod will be released on February 19th, 2008 and will be available on most major music download sites including iTunes, Napster and Rhapsody.
