April 01, 2009 - For the last few years, the fate of 2-stroke Scooters has hung in the balance because of the new Euro 3 emission regulations that come into force in 2012. However, due to advancements in 2-stroke technology, these regulations have now been relaxed paving the way for KYMCO to launch a new two-stroke 50cc Scooter, which is a version of its sought-after Super 8 4-stroke brother.
Compared to old ‘smoky’ two-strokes, KYMCO’s new Super 8 features an advanced exhaust recirculation system, making it much greener and cleaner to comply with the Euro 3 requirements.
Powered by KYMCO’s single cylinder, air cooled engine, the 2-stroke Super 8 has the same high technical specification as its 4-stroke counterpart as well as equally impressive sports design features. Stunning new white/red/black paintwork and edgy graphic panels, twin tinted halogen headlights, 14" six spoke alloy wheels and tinted sports screen are all integral to its aggressive street styling.
