March 29, 2007 - Following in the footsteps of fellow Barbadian entertainer Rihanna, singer Tonya “Tejay” Montague is aiming to take on the regional and international music industry by storm with the official release of her new single 'Summer Kisses'.
The young entertainer, sought the guidance and creative talent of Good Entertainment responsible for the hip hop R&B hit, So Good by Nitro and Slimz and renowned international producer and engineer Focus of Aftermath Entertainment who is part of one of the world's hottest produwwwction teams and responsible for producing hits such as ‘Yes’ by Beyonce, and ‘Pop Ya Collar’ by Usher, to produce her hot new single ‘Summer Kisses’ which also features rapper McNeil.
The release comes on the heels of two nominations at the Barbados Music Awards in the categories of best new artist and best dance/pop single.
Tejay is currently in studio finishing up her debut album, ‘My Life’, a creative blend of R&B fused with Caribbean rhythms and a balance of alternative/rock music to be released in the fourth quarter of 2007.
