A summer collection of children’s clothes by English clothing designer Patricia Smith has been launched. This exclusive collection, for children from 3 months to 8 years, uses fabrics made mainly from natural fibres, such as cotton and silk. Garments are individually hand crafted to the highest standard using traditional techniques.

The collection is described in a beautifully designed brochure (also available as a pdf download from www.patriciasmith.co.uk). Clothes for babies from 3 months to boys and girls up to 8 years are all illustrated and described.
Included in the collection are a delightful baby sailor suit made from blue cotton pique, a smart boys Liberty striped blazer and an enchanting girl’s ‘Betsy’ Liberty dress. Not to mention a stunning pure silk dupion sailor suit in turquoise blue.
This collection, which caters for all occasions, includes clothes suitable for the beach and nightwear, as well as clothes for special occasions. Considerable care has been paid to detail. For example the appliqued boat, which is featured on the baby and boy’s ‘boat’ shirt. Also the more formal girl’s dresses are fully lined.
