- Atlanta, GA (1888PressRelease) February 11, 2012 - The MSP Centrifuge (MSPC), a Managed Service Provider Business Peer Group, has forged an agreement with SugarSync, a leading Cloud Collaborative Storage (CSS) solution provider. The newly formed relationship will allow The MSP Centrifuge member companies to be the first to join the SugarSync for Businesses reseller program. SugarSync is among the first of this sort of Collaborative Cloud Storage (CCS) companies to tap into the Managed Service Provider (MSP) model in order to further their reach into the small business market.
The MSP Centrifuge members are the forerunners of the Managed Service Provider business model. By allying with SugarSync and other vendor partners the MSCPC members are forging ahead with "Discovering, Developing and Implementing MSP and IT industry best practices methods for the benefit of the service provider and the service recipient."
SugarSync is the leader in the cutting edge technology of Collaborative Cloud Storage (CCS). This technology allows businesses to securely access (online or offline), back-up and synchronize files from anywhere in the world. SugarSync also understands the importance of accessibility in tandem with security as it relates to business and IT departments. The SugarSync for Business solution allows for MAC, PC and a multitude of mobile devices to edit/view and store files. In addition, SugarSync for Business incorporates user access control measures which allow for an administrator to delegate storage and file or folder access to authenticated users. This file storage solution is ideal for companies which do not have all employees or contractor under one roof or on one server based network. The MSP Centrifuge founding partner, Todd Wahl, believes this will shape technology services delivery for the future and is glad to see SugarSync ally with the MSP community by offering a reseller program.
"This partnership is a game-changer for MSPs. It allows Managed Service Providers to offer a familiar collaborative cloud storage solution (CCS) that is designed for business use without investing hundreds of thousands of dollars in hardware or storage," says Wahl. "Furthermore it lines up perfectly with the MSP Monthly Recurring Revenue model and has very attractive margins."
The collaboration between SugarSync and The MSP stands to change the way businesses manage, backup and collaborate with their data. With secure Collaborative Cloud Storage now being offered by an MSP organization that covers the contiguous United States, these affordable, cutting edge services seem destined to take hold.
