October 22, 2008 - Huntington Beach, CA, EDO Performance – EDO Performance is proud to announce ourselves as a presenting sponsor for this year’s Subie Invasion 2008. Alongside Subaru of America EDO will be present at this year’s 3-day all Subaru event which coincides with SEMA in Las Vegas. Edwin (Owner, EDO Performance) was quoted as saying “We are very happy to be back as a presenting sponsor for this year’s Subie Invasion! Last year was a great success and we’re hoping this year will be bigger and better.”
The event kicks off Thursday night meet at the In’N’Out off Sahara Ave in Las Vegas. Owners and enthusiasts alike are invited to come out and have some great food, meet fellow fans & performance specialists in the industry and possibly spot some celebrities along the way! Last year we had Tarzan Yamada out signing autographs and meeting with fans. Also present was world renowned drift driver & Option founder Daijiro Inada! We even had a guest all the way from Scotland. After the meet is over, head over to the newly opened Christian Audigier night club. Subie Invasion wristband attendees will have free VIP entrance to the club, access to the VIP lounge area, open bar, as well personal time with knowledge industry personnel. Wristbands will be available for just $50 and can be purchased through www.subieinvasion.com.
Then Saturday it’s THE main event! Come out to Subaru of Las Vegas (located at 2025 S. Decatur Ave) where vendors will be selling tons of parts at discounted rates. Last year presented prominent sponsors like K&N, Royal Purple, DC Shoe, Cusco, Turbo XS, and many others! No doubt 2008 will produce equally well-known sponsors. In addition to a vendor midway there will also be a car show. Registration is only $20 and can be submitted thru Flat 4 Las Vegas (www.flat4lv.com), www.subieinvasion.com or you can email EDO for more details. Finally, what event would be complete without a huge raffle!? Last year EDO gave away tons of Zero/Sports items and this year will prove no exception. Food and refreshments will also be provided. Admission is free. This is not something to be missed!
Sunday will conclude with a group drive through the Valley of Fire. Join your fellow Subaru owners as we caravan throughout the back hills of Las Vegas.
