That is exactly the premise behind the newly debuted STUPID LAWS AMERICA contest from SMIDGITS.COM. Unfortunately for viewers, most of the real laws are so silly themselves, that it makes it difficult to tell them apart.
Producers of the show hope to shed some humor on the legal ideology of United States as well as solving urban myths surrounding laws of the past. Audiences are offered the chance to interact with the show by emailing their guess to the show’s producers. If the viewer is correct, then their name is added to a drawing for prizes at the end of the season. Smidgits.com plans to continue to produce the show as long as its appeal remains strong among online video fans.
