December 12, 2007 - The UK-based gadget website Stuff.tv is today relaunching as the Ultimate online gadget buyers’ guide, with the brand's focus on becoming the essential portal for reviews and expert advice on the best gadgets around.
The revamped site, developed by in-house by Haymarket Media’s new digital team, features 1000s of reviews and a vast selection of over 50 categories of Top 10 lists highlighting the very best products on sale in the UK, from digital cameras, to robots.
Stuff.tv’s Top 10 lists have been compiled by the team of experts at Stuff, the world’s best-selling gadget magazine, who have made their judgments based on key features like usability, design and value for money.
Stuff’s editor-in-chief Tom Dunmore says: “We’ve been testing the latest gadgets and gear for over a decade, and the magazine’s Top 10 buying guide is immensely popular. But this is the first time anyone has attempted an online buying guide of this scale.
The new-look Stuff.tv site also has radically simplified navigation, making it much easier for users to get to any one of over 1,000 reviews in the ever-growing product database. The site will also carry more technology news and reviews, plus video reviews, live video reports and the immensely popular stuff.tv weekly video show which is streamed on site and downloaded through iTunes over 50,000 times every week.
“It’s taken a huge amount of work to review all this kit,” says Tom Dunmore. “As well as our 12 magazine staff we now have six full-time staff working solely for the website. We're confident it's going to be a huge success".
