September 25, 2009 - ‘War is Expensive, Peace is Priceless’, ‘WLC ka Sandesh Generation Peace’ and many such slogans on white play cards stayed as an agenda on the minds of students and faculty members of WLC on the day of ‘International Peace Day’.
Team members of WLC College India organized a peace rally on 21st September from Jantar Mantar to Tolstoy crossing along with various other cultural activities to celebrate the international day of peace. WLC students walked as messengers of peace and carried the placards with quotes on international peace to spread the awareness among general public about making this world a non-violent and peaceful place for the future generations to come.
The activity was a very satisfying experience as all the participants felt in them a sense of cohesiveness and could evoke a feeling of responsibility in themselves and others. The event was well coordinated by the team members comprising of Brig. Chandra Mukesh, Campus Head, WLCI, Mr. Amit Nagpal and the complete batch of WLC Sainik Farms Campus.
