May 14, 2007 - "I don't want to leave university after three years with debts of up to £15,000" said the student from London. Recently featured on BBC News 24 in the United Kingdom, David Cocozza has wrote and is publishing his own ebook online based on sales techniques and marketing. "People ask me how I am qualified to do this all the time. Just because I'm not as known as some of the other big guys, it doesn't mean that I'm not as experienced".
The student ran a series of websites that promoted products in return for commission for each sale for almost 6 months to gain the knowledge required to write his ebook.
He launched his website www.demand-and-deliver.com on thursday and has already made three sales in a short space of time. "I want to provide my customers with the best service available. Because I deal with customers every weekend, I think I have pretty good customer relation skills and I'm going to tap into that knowledge".
David also announced in a recent video that he was going to donate 40% of all the money he receives after 3 months to Cancer Research UK (20%), Asthma UK(10%) and the American Red Cross (5%). "It's not all about me me me, I want to give something back. A lot of my family have had history with cancer or asthma and those charities do a wonderful job. The American Red Cross also does a brilliant feat".
"I want to turn this into a legitimate business", said David. "I'm not looking to make enough money and then just stop it, I'm hoping to carry this on for a long time." The student has vowed not to give up in the face of adults telling him he is not old enough or qualified enough to do this, and wants to prove that anyone can be an entrepreneur
