April 05, 2007 - 21-year old Nanyang Polytechnic student Steve Chou [Zhou Supeng] has announced the launch of SGDollar.com [www.sgdollar.com] as an opportunity for individuals and businesses [both big and small enterprises] to get long-term visibility for themselves while also doing their bit to support a noble cause.
SGDollar.com will be a trend-setter in Singapore, as not only does it bring the globally popular pixel advertising concept to the island city, but also will funnel 10% of revenues generated from the website to further the cause of education.
Explaining his decision to launch SGDollar.com, Steve said that considering the large number of SMEs and Internet-savvy individuals here, this internationally-tested concept offers considerable advertising and promotional potential to these segments.

"I am passionate about the Internet and the unlimited entrepreneurial opportunities it offers for anyone—irrespective of age and location--- and thus make a difference. I have been fortunate enough to get some very good education, both in China and in Singapore, which is why I want to channel some of it back to support education," said Steve.
Steve has been involved in the Internet/ IT arena from a very young age. At 16, he became the youngest Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator and Microsoft Certified Database Administrator in the world. He started his first online venture when still in his teens, and after moving to Singapore to pursue a diploma at Nanyang Polytechnic, he started several websites in Chinese to forge strong online communities of Chinese speaking people a la a world wide club of Chinese.
