A Tel Aviv-born Sabra, Elan was born into a jewelry family. His maternal grandfather was the personal jewelry designer for the king of Yemen. Elan came to the United States in 1985 and began working in the Diamond District on 47th Street in New York. In 1987, he Moved to Florida and opened a booth in the International Jewelry Exchange. This year, Elan and Bati felt it was time to open a shop together and they designed a show room to set off some of Elan's magnificent wearable art.
