The blog features news, information and advice about landscaping with pattern, and irregular stone for patios and walkways, as well as wall stone 1-3, and 3-6 inches thick for double faced and retaining walls. There are stone slabs as well weighing up to 2.5 tons or cut and flamed if you are looking for more of a refined look. Stone Haven is famous not only for its selection but the variety of colours to chose from.
Owner Mike Stone brings 30 years of experience as a dry stone layer to the blog. His experience enables him to walk beginners through the construction and maintenance of a patio, stone wall, or step application. Architects, landscapers, and stone masons appreciate his wealth of knowledge regarding the selection of stone for the job site. The blog includes basic instructions and advice about specific materials such as granite, limestone and Penn Blue Sandstone.
Unlike most such resources, the blog is bilingual. The company provides articles in English and French.
Under Stone’s supervision, the blog will pass on some of the insights he’s learned over the course of decades.
