The Da Vinci line uses computer assisted designs (mlssa), and acoustical performance is enhanced beyond that of the typical box-type speaker by using a new semi elliptic parabaloid internal shaped enclosure. All StereoStone products, including the Da Vinci line, are also triple protected from outdoor elements, including protection from insects, rain, snow, and ice, as well as from the sun's ultraviolet rays.
All Da Vinci models include StereoStone’s exclusive weatherproof bass tuned port which extends bass frequencies down to 35 Hz, while the inside of the enclosure remains environmentally isolated. Additionally, a 1-inch Titanium tweeter using a neodymium rare earth magnet is utilized to provide “directional” (adjustable up/down and left/right) high frequency response.
