Spreading awareness through a fun application is a delicate process, and was one of the biggest challenges to date.

The ‘Infect a Friend’ application has been developed with a focus on awareness and prevention. Using the powerful viral aspects of the Facebook Social Network the company aims to target the population most at risk, 16-24 year olds. These viral aspects of Facebook make it an 'ideal platform' to demonstrate how easily STDs can spread between young people.
Once installed, users can infect a friend (and be infected) with a number of contagious STD’s. Players can then request condoms for protection against attack. The more points, the more STD’s are unlocked and available for spreading.
At all times players are educated and encouraged to learn more about STD awareness by following the links to more information and techniques for prevention. SMO Interactive is using the application for fundraising to support the National Aids Trust. Players are requested to make a donation to help the fight against the most fatal STD.
