February 01, 2009 - The Vassal Engine has just released a new online board game entitled “Star Wars Tactics”. With Star Wars Tactics you can play with up to 4 friends online in classic Star Wars battles. You can choose from 25 classic units including jedi knights and bounty hunters. You can also choose from 45 game maps to play on.
“With strategy video games increasing in demand there is a wide market for this type of game” says Jordan Williams, the game’s designer. “What is great with Star Wars Tactics is that instead of taking hours of setting it up and reading all the various rules, you can jump right in and start playing with your friends within minutes” says Jordan.
Vassal Engine currently publishes Star Wars Tactics on its website and the game is free to play. Players can even customize it with their own maps and scenarios if they wish. This is a great addition to the Vassal Engine game lineup.
