September 05, 2009 - As part of the MoU, Frontier Lifeline would initially set up a world-class Emergency Care Unit at Sri City, which will grow into a full-fledged multi-speciality hospital to cater to the medical requirements in and around Sri City.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Ravindra Sannareddy, Founder & Managing Director, Sri City (P) Limited and Dr. K. M. Cherian, Chairman & CEO, Frontier Lifeline & Dr. K. M. Cherian Heart Foundation.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sannareddy said, “At Sri City, one of our primary commitments is making healthcare available and accessible to the people of the region. While Sri City had several options for partnership for healthcare services, we have chosen Frontier Lifeline Hospital which is building Asia’s first bio-hospital in a 360-acre campus, close to Sri City. I believe that Sri City’s association with a visionary like Dr. Cherian will be mutually beneficial and make available the much-needed healthcare facilities for the people in the region.”

The Emergency Care Unit will be set up by Frontier Lifeline in a facility to be constructed by Sri City. Later a state-of-the-art multi-speciality 150-bedded hospital with specialized industrial and occupational hazards healthcare services will be built by Frontier Lifeline to serve the needs of Sri City SEZ & DTZ and the neighbourhood. This hospital will have mobile Intensive Care Unit on wheels with qualified medical and paramedical staff manning it for medical emergencies. A fully equipped state-of-the-art diagnostic laboratory will be operational at the hospital. Operation theatres with advanced surgical equipments and sterile supply facility for carrying out a range of surgical operations will form an important part of this hospital.
Any specialist, sophisticated investigations and follow-up treatment which are necessary will be offered at the General and Speciality Hospitals at the next-door Frontier Mediville with their full team of specialists.
