March 13, 2007 - Bring your resume and dress to impress interviewers at this free event, open to entry-level and seasoned job seekers. In addition to potential interviews, gain useful tips toward interviewing and resume writing at two free seminars: "Effective Resume Preparation Clinic" Tuesday, March 13, 2007, at The Learning Center, 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm and “Employers Panel, Thursday, March 15, 2007 at Training, Inc., Room TI-20, 2:30pm – 3:30pm.
Anna Banks, GCDF, Adjunct Professor & Employability Skills Trainer at Essex County College, said this career fair is open to the general public and Essex County College students. “Anyone who is serious about looking for a job should attend and bring plenty of resumes,” said Banks.
More than 40 employers are expected to provide a range of opportunities, including jobs in banking, computer information technology, criminal justice, financial advising, health care, hospitality, insurance, recreation, retail and security.
“Some companies don’t come to all the job fairs and a few of them will be at ours,” said Banks. “It’s a great way to network with employers and submit an application or resume to a lot of companies in a few hours.”
