May 13, 2008 - Michael DiSanto joined Barry Promotions as an Account Manager in April 2007. Michael went to Baruch College, City University of New York, where he majored in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. During his senior year, Michael developed an interest in Marketing and attributes the mixture of business and psychology coursework to honing his effective strategy and management skills. Michael has always been resilient and determined, working his way through college as a Legal Assistant and then Office Manager at the Law Offices of Krez & Piesner in Manhattan.
After graduating, Michael began his marketing career in the field by working on numerous events and promotional programs. Michael joined the staff of Crunch Fitness as a Marketing Assistant for Community Activities, a role in which he learned and implemented multiple marketing strategies designed to build membership and brand representation. During this time, Michael completed coursework in Event Marketing at New York University and developed relationships with mentors in the industry. He then moved on to the position of Marketing Coordinator at Big Apple Circus where he worked across multiple marketing disciplines.
He spearheaded the formulation of co-promotional partnerships as well as the management of numerous co-marketing programs across multiple channels, including direct mail, Internet, special events and guerilla marketing campaigns. Michael has also served as a guerilla marketing consultant for various organizations and political campaigns and is dedicated to causes including Alzheimer’s disease and Cancer Research.
With a track record of successes for accelerating business growth, Michael brings exceptional project management skills as well as the ability to develop key partnerships and manage marketing campaigns. He is strongly committed to delivering effective and quality work to clients.
