October 06, 2009 - Sportsvibe.co.uk the new website launching in the first week of October and devoted to getting ‘inside the head’ of sport, has appointed Brandnation to handle its marketing and communications strategy.
The website edited by award winning sports journalist and writer Ian Stafford, will give its readers a unique, first hand, behind the scenes insight into the world of sport, sports stars and athletes and the business that surrounds them. Sportsvibe focuses on the information and details that sports fans wouldn’t normally find on the back pages of a newspaper or on television and it includes a sports insider’s blog, interviews, insightful features, the latest videos, and news plus great competitions and sports oriented informative items and trivia.
Sports personalities appearing in the launch version of the site include the world’s fastest man, Usain Bolt, Jessica Ennis the new Golden Girl of British Athletics, England rugby star turned Dancing on Ice supremo Kyran Bracken, world heavyweight boxing champion Wladimir Klitschko and as a special guest mad sports fan and top chef Marco Pierre White.
Brandnation will be working to a wide ranging brief to raise the profile of the new site and build traffic, working closely with the in-house Sportsvibe team to build interest around content featured on the site. Brandnation will also be working on online and print advertising campaigns, partnership marketing initiatives and promotions.
