Special Forces Gear Donates 25 percent to Special Operations Warrior Foundation (SOWF)

Special Forces Gear, an online military superstore announced in its latest newsletter that it would be donating 25% of sales proceeds to Special Operations Warrior Foundation (SOWF). The have set up a section on their website dedicated to this cause.


Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA (1888PressRelease) July 11, 2009 - Special Forces Gear Donates 25 percent of Its Sales to Special Operations Warrior Foundation (SOWF). Special Forces has recently announced that it now is hosting a special section on its website that is dedicated to giving back to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation (SOWF) charity. Dave Thomas, former Green Beret and owner of Special Forces Gear states “ I try to do what I can to help the children who have been affected by the tragedy’s of war”.

The Special Operations Warrior Foundation mission is devoted to providing a college education to every child who has lost a parent while serving in the Army, Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps Special Operations during an operational or training mission. To date, 143 children of fallen special operations warriors have graduated from college.

Special Forces Gear donation announcement was featured in Special Forces latest newsletter, “the Voice of The Solder”. This special section will feature Special Operations Warrior Foundation (SOWF) products and Special Forces will donate 25% of all sales on this section to the SOWF charity.

The forces covered by the Foundation are some 50,000 military special operations and support personnel stationed in units throughout the United States and overseas bases.
