June 28, 2007 - Speaking of Woman’s Health, a two-day event designed to influence women in making informed decision about their health, well-being and personal safety, held a kick-off event at Edwards Center for Medical Education, June 19 from 3:30 - 5 p.m. to plan the upcoming conference.
Sponsor representatives, steering committee members, prospective sponsors, key community leaders, and media attended the evening reception to discuss assignments, preparations and planning for the upcoming conference. Sponsorship opportunities, ticket sales, programming, keynote speaker roundup, honoree selections, décor, promotion and publicity were discussed. The Speaking of Women’s Health conference will begin Friday, Sept. 14 at 5:30 p.m. at the North Raleigh Hilton.
