Duke HomeCare and Hospice Marketing Manager Recognized For Her Dedication To The Community.


Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC (1888PressRelease) October 05, 2008 - Dr. Lisa Roberts, co-chair of Raleigh’s Speaking of Women’s Health Conference (www.swhraleigh.com) and president and CEO of Gynecology & Laparoscopic Surgeons, PC (www.glsi.info), has announced that Ann Farmer, marketing manager for Duke HomeCare and Hospice, was recognized as the organization’s Everyday Super Hero Honoree on Sept. 27 at the 2008 conference held at the Raleigh Convention Center. Farmer, who was nominated and chosen for the award based on her dedication to improving the community, received a $3,000 grant from Speaking of Women’s Health which she has chosen to allocate to Resources for Seniors’ MEDS Program. The MEDS Program provides prescriptions at no cost for Wake County seniors who are not able to pay for their medications.
