  • (1888PressRelease) April 05, 2016 - Disclosing this addressing a press conference here in city today, Atal Malviya Founder, Spark10 and Investor in Tech Startups in Europe and UK said the First cohort (10 Startups) handpicked from well over 500 applications will be announced tomorrow in a special event "Spark10 Origins", scheduled in city at Cyber City Convention, near Hitex Kondapur. The final 10 teams - the people, their ideas, goals and aspirations will be made public through Episode 0 of Spark10.tv in this event. They will also be introduced to the five hundred plus gathering of Startup Community in the city. It will be graced by who is who of the community. Paul Smith, Founding Advisor of Spark10, India's First European Accelerator and Co-Founder and CEO of Ignite100, Europe's Angel-Led Acceleration Fund and Investor is specially flown in to grace the function. This is Paul's maiden visit to city where he would be conversing with Startup Community about "Building Successful Startups" - sharing his invaluable insights from Ignite100.

    Paul Smith via Ignite100 has invested on over 60 teams and delivered eight programs across the UK, working alongside VC and angel investors, as well as providing consultation and management for third-party accelerator programs to corporates and UK Government.Smith is the author of a best-selling, non-fiction book "Twichhiker: How One Man Travelled the World by Twitter." The book is based on his award-winning project Twicchiker, an attempt to travel around the world relying only on the goodwill of people using social media network 'Twitter.' 60+ mentors from Europe, UK and India will mentor the ten selected startups and offer them global exposure and assured funding. This program will begin from mid April'16. These ten startups will be taken through an intensive 13 weeks program endorsed by largest European Accelerator. The program provides access to Investors, free work spaces, workshops, and learning experiences that help shoot them into the stratosphere.
