August 15, 2007 - London: With the announcement of Spain hosting the Spanish Grand Prix until 2016, Spanish property market is experiencing a hike in rates. According to the local property agents, there is an increase in the interest people are showing in Valencia ahead of next year's Grand Prix. This is being experienced after a sharp rise in the Spanish property brought about by the Americas Cup this year, particularly in the Costa Blanca city which lies near Costa de Valencia.
The country already hosts one of the premier Grand Prix events at Barcelona's Circuit de Catalunya. And now Valencia, the third largest city in Spain, would be hosting the European Grand Prix from 2008 to 2014.
Although the race would be held after a year, there is a boost in the Spanish property market already. This, in other words, would mean that the Spanish property market is putting up a strong performance so far, especially the buy-to-let market.
