According to the latest report published today, a 3-bedroom house in the popular city of Barcelona is almost five times more expensive than the coastal province of Granada on the Costa Tropical. It is also twice the national average price. Similarly, 3 bedroom flats in Granada are being advertised for a quarter of the price than in other provinces like Malaga. The report which shows the average prices in provinces broken down by property types and number of bedrooms is completely unique and uses data from almost 5,000 properties in fifteen areas of Spain, considered as the most sought-after locations by English buyers: Alicante, Almeria, Barcelona, Cadiz, Castellon, Cordoba, Gerona, Gran Canaria, Granada, Jaen, Malaga, Mallorca, Murcia, Sevilla and Valencia.

Quarterly highlights of the report include:
- The most exclusive houses and flats (3 bedrooms) are located in Mallorca, Malaga and Barcelona.
- 3 bedroom houses under €160.000 can be found in Cordoba, Granada Jaen and Sevilla.
- The average price of a 4 bedroom flat in Mallorca, Gerona and Gran Canaria is well below the hot-spot average.
